What are Ice Hummocks?
Ice Hummocks are large chunks of ice that get pushed into shore. They can build up and create quite an intriguing and beautiful shoreline made purely by mother nature.
While the temperatures are fluctuating between winter and spring the waves shift and push the ice shelf around sometimes pulling it out into the lake and other times pushing it back to shore.
