Here we are celebrating Valentine's Day in a pandemic, but you know what, we are determined to still enjoy a nice evening!
Don't let a lockdown put a damper on your night in, we have come up with 5 ways to celebrate Valentine's Day this year solo or with a partner, we hope you enjoy!

1. Order Takeout
If there is one thing that Southern Georgian Bay is not short on, it's amazing restaurants. We have a plethora of restaurants that have adapted to continue serving us the delicious food we know and love. If you're feeling like you want a night away from the kitchen, try something new and order takeout for the occasion.

2. Have a Self-Care Night
You don't need a partner to celebrate Valentine's Day. Show yourself some love and plan a night of self-care! Whether that's a facemask and a book or meditation and cooking your favourite dessert, plan some "you" time and your body and mind will thank you!

3. Make Valentine's Day Cards and Drop Them Off to Loved Ones
It's the feel-good tasks that make our day! Make some custom Valentine's Day Cards and drop them off to loved ones, this is a fun way to show some love and send a hug when you can't be there to do it physically, guaranteed to brighten up anyone's day!

4. Make a Home-Cooked Meal Together
Be ambitious with this one! Find an amazing recipe and commit to it, we often surprise ourselves with what we can make from home! If you are no stranger to takeout, it might be fun to change up the routine and make a gourmet meal from home with your partner or on your own *sense of accomplishment included.*

5. Plan an Outdoor Adventure
We are lucky to live in an area that has an abundance of hiking trails, skating loops and snowshoe trails. Plan a day outside and take on whatever activity might bring you joy and come home for a hot chocolate *spiked, or not, we will leave that up to you.*

How will you be celebrating valentine's Day this year?
