When purchasing a home, a lender will require an appraisal by a third party, (appraiser), to make sure the loan amount requested is sufficient to cover the amount a buyer wishes to borrow on it. If a home’s appraised value is below what a buyer has offered, the lender may request the…

Family Day in lockdown is a bit of a curveball, but we have ideas to share! We've come up with 5 funways to spend Family Day this year. Each involves some creativity but they will guarantee a memorable day!

1. Plan an Arts & Crafts Day
Set up stations around your house for a fun day of getting creative, you could have a paint section, a paper planes section, a building blocks section. Whatever you can think up, create a designated section and share all that you made with each other at the end.

2. Go Skating
Bundle up for a beautiful afternoon or evening of skating at Woodview Mountain Top Skating at Blue Mountain. It is a stunning loop and will keep you busy for a few hours taking in the scenery. Woodview Mountain Top Skating

3. Plan an Outdoor…

Here we are celebrating Valentine's Day in a pandemic, but you know what, we are determined to still enjoy a nice evening!
Don't let a lockdown put a damper on your night in, we have come up with 5 ways to celebrate Valentine's Day this year solo or with a partner, we hope you enjoy!

1. Order Takeout
If there is one thing that Southern Georgian Bay is not short on, it's amazing restaurants. We have a plethora of restaurants that have adapted to continue serving us the delicious food we know and love. If you're feeling like you want a night away from the kitchen, try something new and order takeout for the occasion.

2. Have a Self-Care Night
You don't need a partner to celebrate Valentine's Day. Show yourself some love and plan a night of self-care!…

We’re here. We’re all in this together, but separately. Something we’ve been hearing and saying for nearly a year now. But what does that mean?...

It means we’re all experiencing the same shifts in our lives. We’re all staying home more, and we’re all missing the ability to hug a friend or a loved one.

But what if I told you that you…

If you’re anything like me, you find home styles fascinating. The size, layout, exterior, colour, textures, type of building materials, windows all ‘talk’ about the home. On a trip to Australia some years ago, we visited friends who lived in a “Queenslander” and that’s when I first fell in love with this style of home!

JANUARY Book Club - Rich Dad Poor Dad

Happy New Year everyone! For those of you who I have not had the chance to meet, my name is Andrew Little, Sales Representative for the Jen Scholte Team.

A new year brings new goals and one of my personal goals for 2021 is to read one book a month related to Finance, Business, Personal Development or Investing. In the past, I have always favoured audiobooks and podcasts over reading hard copies of books due to the fact that I can listen on the go while driving between appointments. This year I have decided to make reading a habit and incorporate 15-30 minutes of reading into my Morning and Evening Routines.

To start us off for the month of JANUARY I am going to be reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by…
